This is the hawaiian puka shell hoops. Puka shells are found here in the islands and all hand picked here in Maui by me and my Ohana (family). The Puka (hole) shell originally comes from a cone shell which then breaks down from years of tumbling in the ocean. It’s a beautiful process and creates the most beautiful jewelry.
